Choir of Whispers

What remains of us when only our messages survive?

Long after humanity is gone, an alien Indexer discovers the ruins of the Internet: personal pages become homes, forums become settlements, and dead links become broken bridges.

Recover the connections between abandoned voices and build a Museum of Humanity. What begins as cataloguing becomes an act of listening, and eventually an answer.

Listen carefully. Someone was trying to reach you.

Destination: Afterlife

Where do you go when no afterlife will have you?

Processing asks ordinary questions. Your name. Your life. Where you think you belong. You remember none of it, so you improvise. The answer sends you into an eternity that soon throws you out.

With an increasingly exasperated Case Officer assigned to your impossible file, you lie, bargain and puzzle your way through incompatible versions of forever, looking for somewhere that will let you stay.

You died. Apparently that did not solve anything.
